This is an interesting sentiment, that makes sense. But at least for me, the characters that I am writing about are their own persons. I really don’t base them on anyone. However, I am not done yet, maybe people I know will emerge? :-)

I marvel that I have been writing this story for over a year. I think I may be halfway through. I would not have foreseen myself to have the patients (har!) patience required to do so.
